The first day at PodCamp Europe
In the audience listening to PodCamp Europe.
It is all about podcasting.
• Christopher Penn is on a triple espresso and very inspiring : )
• Thomas Plessis: is talking about radio, tv, web, mobile, phone: content production for media convergence.
Thomas is talking about the experience of content. And the importance of using fast media for putting up the content.
– Use the mobile phone, he says.
He is showing their Radio Podcast site.
Thomas tells us that the French users does not use the RSS feed.
– It is too complicated for them. It is better for them to click direct on the site, he says.
• Chris Brogan is going to talk about: Technology how to build actionable communities and relationships.
Chris is comparing users to super heroes – living an ordinary life all day and then using really powerful tools to extend their network.
– It is not about what your product is, is about being out there talking and meeting people, he says.
He thinks that podcasting should be done with the simplest tools. It should be: not expensive, easy and fast.
He compares Jakui to Twitter.
Chris call them presence tools.
– It is not about what I am doing now, it is about what I am interested in right now, he says.
• Back at the office for lunch and a meeting.
• Back at PodCamp after a really good meeting.

He thinks that people should choose their own device.
– It is all about diversity, he says.
